Default RE: New H9 Cub??

Bassman, don't give up on your 65 just yet... Remember that the Cub doesn't take a spinner, just a prop nut so, the shaft can stick out a little bit more and won't look that out of place. As far as the 52 FS flying it, I believe it will fly it well, just in a scale manner. You'll have to "fly the wing". You won't have any "oops" power!

If the crank case width is too much for the stock mount on your 65, I'd use one of the Great Planes adjustable mounts. 2 reasons for this. 1, versatility, you can use it with different configurations later in life and 2, it's lighter!

Glue joints are all good on mine. (that I can see) The wing locating pins at the rear of the wing were a little snug but, not uncomfortably so.

I don't see anything wrong with it that we haven't covered. That's kinda' rare these days...

Tide: A PNP warbird.... Hmmmmm..... Well, I'd bet cold hard cash that It'll be a P-51. Everybody, it seems, wants a Mustang. I'd personally like to see something different. Like a quality Bf 109 or FW 190. Maybe an Il-2 or Yak 3. A H9 quality Spit or Hurri would do as well. Just my opinion... [8D]

"Scotty...I...Neeed...More...Power!!!!! "

MORE POWER!!! Aaaaaargh!

"Geez, you guy's I was going to put a Saito 100 on my Cub, but now I think I will put one of my wore out Combat O.S 15, on it!!! "

Between the 2, I'd have to choose the 100 as well.[X(]

"Just Jokin...Uh-Oh is the Cub Man!!! "

Yeah,,, right!

"Oh..Oh..I got to find a Budman Logo and do a little photoshop on it!!!! "

I'll take a copy of that! Make it a sticker and I'll put it on the plane! Great idea!!!!

So now we know, Jimmy's and overpowered Star Trek "Classic" fan that is familiar with the Budman.... He'd fit right in in my family! Wait, he is family,,,, Awww crud....
