Now you have me thinking about my 110. I have a Zenoah 26 with an zinger 15x6-10 prop. I use spoilrons to get her to come down. Does anyone have this setup, and what prop are you useing.
We are running an 18x8 prop on our Zenoah 26/Rascal 110 and can do about 7000 rpm on the top end which equates to about 60-65 mph in level flight. I will do some side slipping if setup my approach a bit too high, but getting her down isn't much of a problem.

When we were running an OS1.60FX with an 18x10 prop, that's when I had to set up my approach a long way out, do a lot of side slipping and still had trouble getting her down.

The G26A is a bit heavier than the OS160, but the G26A can idle a little slower ... all of that makes it easier to get back down with the G26A.

If you want to run a bigger engine, you might consider loading a couple lbs of ballast onboard. :-)

Curt.
