OK guys
I actually plan on trying to pull a Kiiski this weekend with my bcp. I'm nervous. I think it's because I know I have some slop in two of my cyclic servos. The reason I don't fix is because I know I'm gonna crash and buy new parts anyway but I wonder if thats the right way to look at it. If I do...WHEN I do, I'll wonder if it because of me or because of the slop. Before this, I've only tried hopping it around 2 or three times but that was like two weeks ago and all I've done since is read, read, and read somemore. Any tips Kiiski (or anyone else for that matter)?
Pulling a Kiiski! LOL
Personally, I would fix whatever is wrong, sloppy is only going to make it harder. I was doing fairly well last week, then, on Thursday, all H broke loose and I couldn't fly it worth beans. I had a servo with a few teeth missing. I replaced the servo and the very next flight was my "breakthrough". The flight after that was tough, and this morning was worse. I was hoping it wasn't pilot error, and it wasn't. My tail motor had spun a bushing, I replaced that and this afternoon, I was back to "hovering". This time, I only had three "barely in control" landings for the whole pack.
It seems to me, that the trick is (and I may be dead wrong, correct me here guys) but when you do a correction, you seem to need to correct, then counter correct slightly, before (or right as) you start to change directions.
