At least you recognized you had a problem and started looking for it. A lot of people who start flying insist the heli has to be junk and just give up. Can't possibly be that last crash that bent something, or broke something that isn't obvious to the eye.
I know what you mean. When I raced RC cars, I used to see that all the time, the newcomers saying the car they just bought was a POS. The guys I used to race with always said I was over doing it on the maintenance and set up, but somehow I always (almost!) seemed to beat them! Hmmm. And just as a side note, FULL PACK BABY!!!! I only had it do the "flushing down the toilet" action once and was able to recover. Funny how this 40something gets as giddy as a teenager in love over a "toy".
