Default RE: EP1 tunnel project

Sorry for the long delay. I returned the motor to stock, as the LRP motor was to powerful for direct drive. Basically it was a disaster. I think the motor was too low? Boat accelerated and got onto the plane like a champion, but then just bogged down and cavitated. To be honest, i have not had much time to set it up right.
Pagemaster/Steven - In answer to your question: I attached the brass collet/drive dog at the extreme end of the LRP motor shaft. I noticed the 2.5 mile long shaft on the stock can and compensated for it. I ran a PC series unlimited speed control fine with 7.2v nimh, but it cut out with 8.4v. I returned the stock motor and put the 50000+rpm donk into an old tamiya 4wd gtr. I have been concentrating on r/c bikes and 1/8 on road, but I'll get around to running/testing again I have added some photos of the Tamiya dack dack with LRP, the TT bike and Shock and bobbos's new CEN totally worked elec jet ski & his Gadget with Graupner setup.
