Default RE: Gas Engine Weights - 50cc Class

ORIGINAL: chuck l

Aerobob,

I don't know if you want to include these or not, but Ralph just completed a conversion for me on a G62.

G-62 w/Rcign conversion including mount 67
Battery 4.9
Stock muffler 5

Total 76.9oz

Chuck
Nope, sorry[]

The G-62 is NOT a 50cc engine. It's a 60cc engine, and should be compared to other 60cc engines. The ZDZ60 for example.

The G-62 has no business being compared to a 50cc engine. It's a more powerfull engine than any 50cc engine, and it's a little heavier.

If your gonna compare the G-62 to all the 50cc engines--then why not compare the Brison 4.2 (69cc) or the 3W70 too a ZDZ80? Or, why not compare the G-62 to the Brison 4.2 or the 3W70? They are almost the same thing, in a kinda-sorta pull it outta your butt kinda way.

There has to be a standard. If your going to compare 50cc engines--then do it.

If you want to compare 60cc engines--then keep it 60cc.

70cc engines? Then don't include any 60 or 80cc engines in the comparison.

If your just going to toss any old engine into the comparison chart--then it's meaningless.

But, not my thread, and not my chart. Just my opinion.
