Will this work? First electric foamy question
Good morning all. I am a nitro flyer looking to purchase a 3d electric foamy setup and want to make sure that I have this figured out..
I want to purchase a 32" Twisted hobbies Crack Yak (http://www.twistedhobbys.com/TH-32-E...e-Standard.htm)
and the Twisted Hobbies standard power combo (http://www.twistedhobbys.com/30-32-S...-Combo_c93.htm)
I realize the reciever will not work with my Futaba radio that is on FAAST so I plan to substitute a Futaba Micro 4 channel RX (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWHX6&P=7)
I also need a 2s lipo and a means to charge it. I am thinking my Duratrax onyx 245 charger (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAZZS) will work but I may need a balancing board?
Does all of this sound like it will work togeather? Do you forsee any problems with this setup?
Thanks in Advance

A lot of people will hate me saying this coz it stops people buying kits. But hey, you don't need a kit man for 50-80 bucks, just buy some depron or epp foam and build your own. You can design your own, or build one from a free plan. The hard part, is choosing the right plan, otherwise you will be held back by a flying pig.
I have a 700mm plane which can fly in a very tight space, is a very good flyer indoors and outdoors. It is called 'Slave', yes becoz it will do what u want it to do). I have a video of it flying which i made yesterday, if anybody wants a plan, i will try and upload it here, i am not that clever on computers so i need instructions. The plans are very basic, but detailed and accurate.
Note EPP would be the best choice if you are wanting to learn 3D and/or fly in tight spaces, this plan needs 6mm thick foam).

Thanks for the replies.
I was hoping someone could look through the info I provided and spot any possible problems with the electronics I have chosen.

Buy the Crack Yak for sure! This is the very best flying 3D/3D Trainer I've ever flown. Get the whole package from Twisted Hobbies (go with 2S set up), I did, you will LOVE this plane! Chargers are a different can of worms...way too many choices. I own a dozen of them. My favorite is the 206B I charger. It will charge at a full 20 amps (with my 530 watt power supply) and with a parra board can charge up to 6 batteries at a time. GO CRACK YAK!!!
