I'm working on the plan to build one of the many 12 to 14 ounce 3D foamies. I've got plenty of them to choose from, and need some help with the set up. First, I've ordered a Maxx Prod 2015-4100 to mount to my GWS "D" gear box. I plan to run an 11 or 12 inch GWS prop. Can anyone give me the load of this set up, see the ESC question below as well?

I'd like to see what folks think about servos. I intend to run a Hitec Feather, as I've got one sitting here. I'd want to run 1 HS-81 for both ailerons, as the Feather doesn't have enough channles to mix in flaps. Is this OK, or would 2 HS-55s be a better situation considering the torque, weight, and the need for a "Y"?

Next, I'm looking at the ESC. Most folks are saying go with a Castle Creations 10 or 25. For the sake of saving almost $20, I'd like to run the 10. The 6C discharge of a 3 cell 1200mah LiPo puts me at 7.2 amps, correct? May I assume that this is at full power, and that most flying (below full power) will not draw this much current? Does that mean that I'm within the operating range of a 10 amp ESC considering the motor draw, and battery capability?
