Good replacement Plane Shock/3dx/other
I purchased a Live Wire, which flew well at first, but seemed heavy, and had problems balencing it. Anyway I crashed and glued it a couple of times and now it flys so poorly I'm ready to try something else. Part of my problem was C-55 servos, which i think were large for this plane and caused some balence and weight problems. Anyway, I want to take my equipment and move to a new plane. I am not ready to spend major bucks on a brushless setup, since I already have an esc, and I don't like hovering that much. The Shock and 3dx look much lighter, and may have more power with my present equipment. Can anyone recomend a plane, I like to float around doing tight loops, elevators, spins, inverted flight and rolls.

shockflyer if you want a kit( They are hard to find right now)
How about an HD3D from allerc.com

I agree 3dx if you want to order depron and scratch build. Plans are free though. shocky's, can't buy em anywhere. Thats why I'm building 3dx's and ultimates from www.foamyfactory.com I think they fly similar if you build the fuse with the shocky add on. I think your setup should probably work if you don't like hovering.

What motor do you have? The 55 servos are a bit big and heavy for the Shock Flyer. Make a run to Lowe's and get some fanfold and build a 3DX or an Ultimate.

Cheap servos are at ebay. search for 6gram and or 9 gram servo's. And I can't find any of the 1/4 inch fan fold at any lowe's stores around this part of california only the 1/2 inch.
