Default battery pack for 3DX

hey guys,
I am realy kean on building a 3DX but i cannot afford a brushless motor. i have seen that a 3 cell lipo will burn out a GWS motor so which battery pack will work best with the 3DX: the 2 cell 1200mah lithium polymer or the 8 cell KAN 650mah? thanks in advanced

Chris

I've been flying 3 planes with the GWS 350 D, using an Etec 1200 3S1P pack, and the performance is awesome!!! I have 15 flights on one of the motors, and it's going strong. I'll keep using this setup until I have motor failure, but so far, so good. I try to manage the throttle carefully, and only use full power when I need to bail out of a maneuver.

Here's a pic of my Edge using this setup.
