For those of you fortunate enough to be going to Toledo and plan on attending the E TOC, I heard from a reliable source that the pilots competing are taking this very seriously. It been said that Chip Hyde has spent a boat load of money on his plane. Yee Haa can't wait!!!!!

A friend and I visited TnT yesterday and spoke to Tom about the E TOC. He is expecting a great turnout and is very excited. He mentioned that there is a number of tickets available and will be selling them at the show. Just giving everyone a heads up and get your ticket at the show so you are not left out.
This event is geared for FUN!!!
You can bet the pilots will be intent on putting on the best show possible, but the focus is on crowd pleasing entertainment!!! Crowd reaction will be part of the score. Don't miss it!
What a lineup!!!
1. Chip Hyde
2. Jason Shulman
3. Quique Somenzini
4. Mike McConville
5. Sean McMurtry
6. John Glezellis
7. Frank Noll
8. George Hicks
9. Jason Noll
10. Andrew Jesky
11. Darren Eaton
12. Mark Leseberg

Having just come from the eTOC... I believe those who were there have just seen a whole new Phase in the R/C airplane world. This has the potiential of having the grace and elegance of free style ice skating.
I see the need for choreographers and experts in music selection..
Very entertaining... When does it apply as a potential olympic sport ?
Well done folks!

George Hicks came in first place with a very cool biplane and excellent flying.
Quique came in 2nd place. Smooooth flyer as always.
John Glezellis 3rd - well deserved.
Chip 4th
Mike McConville 5th
The flying was really fun to watch. Especially once everyone standing up front, near the pilots planes, sat down on the gym floor so others could see.
It was refreshing seeing other guys crash their foamies, admittedly doing it with more style than me! Funniest part was when Chip was doing a demo flight between rounds. Flew an F86 Sabrejet right up to the ceiling where it got trapped on top of the air ventilation duct. Frank Noll deserves the "Miss Congeniality" award for repeatedly trying to get the F86 down by hovering his own plane near the duct, to try knocking it down!

I watched all the online videos of this event and couldn't believe that Frank Noll didn't even place. Granted, I know nothing about the judging criteria but I thought his stunt of landing his plane on the nearly vertical surface of a bingo table on end was stunning. Frank, if you see this you got my vote!

That was Jason Noll that did the table stunt and he was only able to do it in the first round. Frank Noll didn't fair well at all, he crashed in all 3 rounds. It was an absolutely fabulous show, I hope it continues again next year.

My bad. I only remembered the last name and I grabbed it out of a list. Are they related? Anyway, thanks for the correction. He nailed it in the video I saw. I guess it IS as hard as it looks!

I cant say who should have placed where, they were all incredible. But I thought Andrews ceiling to floor tailslides were awsome, he also flew well to the music.
George did a great job to the music as well, and the little cartoon looking bipe did some things I,ve never seen before.
Quique's plane flew incredible. Does anyone Know what it was?

Personally I think Chip shouldn't have made it to the final 6. Andrew Jesky will be the kid to beat very soon.

George's plane is called the Tensor 4D, from what I've read. Awesome flying airplane IMO. I wouldn't call it pretty, but it has a real cool vibe about it, aggressive and futuristic, like a Lamborghini Countach. Makes you look at it twice just to make sure it is what you think it is (like Darth Vader as a barnstormer look).
I've also read it is supposed to be kitted in the next few months. I'm eagerly awaiting this. I've got a 2Cool bipe for flying in normal outdoor weather, and I really want one of these little bipes for calm weather flying after dark under the street lights.
