They are well worth the wait guys, trust me. I was the guy answering under the name Tim V before. Thats my dads account and now I have my own. My store just recieved the new E-Flite brushless, Park 370's and Park 400's. So that tells me the Tribute and Ultimate are not far behind. Stay patient, and you guys will be pleased.
On the issue of building yoru own form websites, why bother, evberyth8ing is in the box on these planes. The quality of the foam is exillent! Dont waste yoru time wiht heavy blue foam and peicing one together, wait another week and fly in 2 hours after opening the box!

You said before (in another posts) that you have flown the plane with the Brushed motor! How does it perform?
Im considering one of the AXI (hobby lobby) motors with the JETI ESC.

My Tribute was brushed power only. One of the Ultimates was brushed, and another was Powered by a AXI 2208. The ultimate will have 2 cabon rods in the nose so you can cut away some foam and easily make a shockflyer type disk for a mount. It flew really good on AXI power in my opinion. The Park 370's will be the ticket.
When flown with stock brushed power the planes fly ok. I flew mine with too heavy a battery so it flew around ok, hovered ok, but brushless power is the way to go if you want to go all out! I will try to post a pic of the motor mount if I get a chance.

Do you think the Park 270 would be a better choice than the AXI?
what about a 2000mah Kokam Batt? is that too much?

Park 370 is a exilent drop in power sorce. It comes with the adapter plate and all mounting hardware to be mounted in a gearbox. Remember weight is your enemy. Dont go too big on a battery just for extra runtime. I had to learn this the hard way.

Thunder Power 1320 is the way to go I believe. Plenty of flighttime, super light, awesome packs from what I hear. I dont have any 1320 packs but I do have TP 2cell and 3 cell 860's and they rock!

these e-flite brushless motors are GREAT!! only $48 and it comes with the pinion already installed, and the adapter plate. Its the 370 5400! this is a better value than the Himax in my opinion (sorry about pic)

I saw these motors go through the developing stages when George Hicks was testing them. I only saw it on the Ultimate and with a 3 cell pack it was out of sight in a second in a vertical climb! Not the best motors out there but really really good for the money!

James, were you the young fellow behind the counter today at Extreme Sports and Hobbies? If so, I enjoyed the visit, nice to see a hobby shop back in the Savannah area.
