I ordered a Blade last Monday and they said I should install seperate servos for the ailerons. Has anybody done this? If so how do you mount the servos? Do you cut a hole in the wing and have the servo sticking half way out the top and half out the bottom?

You could just glue a servo to the foam on each side of the fuse and forget the pre-cut hole in the middle. I know why they've suggested it - by default roll control is very poor and I think it's because a lack of any differential leading to loads of adverse yaw. Obvioulsy with two servos you can program the differential in the Tx. I actually used the "poor mans" solution and used a 90degree servo horn on the aileron servo angled at 45 degree to each wing with the arms pointing away from the control surfaces to give considerably more up than down movement and it definitely helps roll control. However I faced this on another plane and the solution I used there (after someone else suggested it!) was to do what the Ikarus shockflyer does to get differential and don't put the control horns in the ailerons so movement is parallel to the side of the fuse but angle them at about 20-30 degrees instead. I think it's a much neater solution.
