Each time I try to hover the plane hovers for a second and mostly noses over. I try giving down but it doesnt really work out HELP.

How much does the plane weigh and what setup are you using?.. Sounds like you are underpowered from what little you have said.. If your faomy weighs 15oz then you need at least 25-30oz of thrust to hover effectively.

If you have the power then you just need to practice..
Start out by slowing the plane WAY down, point the plane into the breeze and bringing the plane to a nose high attitude (not straight up like a vertical hover), say 70 degrees or so. Play with the throttle and see how slow you can get while holding the nose in that attitude. You are going to have to be working the ailerons, elevator, throttle and rudder to keep it in a straight line.. Keep just a touch of right aileron so that it doesnt try to torque roll. You want it to stay with the top of the wings facing you..

I would play with vertical hovering, but its going to be tough until you get the controls down a little better.

Practice just holding it there, even if the wind blows it a bit just try to stay in that nose high attitude with the wingtops facing you,,, as motionless as possible for as long as possible.. Try to pay attention to your throttle, make only the necessary throttle changes. Once you get into a hover,, 1 click on the throttle up or down will hold it there..

Once you can hold the plane pretty still with minimal movement start increasing the angle of attack until you can do it almost vertical.

Once you get near vertical the plane is going to want to start torque rolling and you are going to have to add right aileron to stop it..

Once you are proficient in hovering vertical then let the aileron s come back to center a LITTLE at a time and the plane will start to torque roll.
When I torque roll I correct the nose as usual, when the wheels are facing me I look at the tail. If the tail is going right, give left rudder. Its exactly the same as normal escept you are looking at the opposite end..

Jason Schulmann said in another post that he always looks at the nose, but when the wheels are facing him he pushes the rudder in the direction the nose is falling, when the canopy is facing him he pushes in the opposite direction like you normally would...

Takes a lot of practice to control the plane when the wheels are facing you.. thousands of hours of practice!!

Something I'm finding with my 3DX and Ultimate is that they can handle a really far back cg.
They can be balanced on the ailerons and still fly good. Yes they get more twitchy, but hovering is much easier.
Move the cg back a little at a time and see if that helps. I keep moving the battery back.
