Hi. Don't hold your breath. When I was trying to get the foam parts Levi Jordan was trying to sell for the Hurley Extara project and many other's we had to wait forever. I'm not sure some even got their parts or their money back. Jim

UGGHHH! 9 pages and this is the end. This has got to be the one of the most dissapointing thread Ive read. I was so excited to see the build process in the begining of the thread and then a dead end, man that sucks. Does anyone have any good pics or links to something close to what was being built here?

as most of you know, I'm no longer involved with the production and sales of 3DF. This one never made it into production and wasn't part of the purchase agreement at the time of the business sale, so I don't know about kits or parts.....
I kind of forgot about this project..... I gave my prototype away to another guy, and never heard anything after that. I'd love to see her fly, but I don’t have the $$$$$ to get the electric gear, and I'm out of the production loop to get parts to other people. I had a lot of great ideas, but many of them past away when I sold the business and moved into a consumer role again..... oh well
If anyone out there would like to take over this baby...... I'll sell the rights to the laser files and design for a pretty good deal. All the CAD is done for the wings, stabs, fuse and ready to cut. I designed both a built up version and a hollow CNC cut foam version for the wings. I think it would be a really great seller with the cost of electric and Lipos coming down so fast.....

If I had some cash I'd jump on this. Money just isn't flowing much right now. I could probably afford the material and gear to put one in the air, and even find a laser cutter locally, but that's where my money would run out.

We need to keep this thing going. I hope john will keep this thread up. I saw the smaller extra foamy later on in this thread that was custom airbrushed in a video. It is so sweeet. It was flying indoors and a big hacker!!!! It blows my mind how far weve come in electrics. Lets not let this stop.
