Default Electric 3D Planes

I have been flying nitros for a while and am looking to try an electric 3d out. How are they compared to nitros in power and run time. Also are brushless motors as good as they say they are, are they worth the money? Do you have any ideas of a plane? Because i would like one that would hover. Sorry about all of the questions but any advice would shure help. Thanks

Also check out www.InsaneFoamies.com Watch the videos, that will give you a good idea. I have never flown a nitro with the power to weight ratio that these type of planes have. They have a good combo kit on sale now for $299.00 comes with all but charger and TX.

Forget the foamies...go with the good stuff. I love my Jumping Jack by Fliton. Can't wait for the ICON to arrive too...

Check out www.fancyfoam.com

I have the Edge on a Himax with a 3c Lipo and it is a rocket. The kit is CNC cut and everything fits perfect.

After 22 years of nitro and gas this was my first electric. I didnt want to expeirment or be disappointed so I went for the total package. I have not been disappointed it has been well worth it.

I love my foamies, 3DX and Ultimate Bipe.
Brushless and lipos are way worth it. The only way to get great performance out of them.
Power and duration are mind blowing.
Okay, I get 20 minutes and acceleration straight up.
Can spend the whole flight hovering.
There are a lot of videos showing what these things can do.
