Default Argh...

I need to know if the Castle Creations Pixie 20P would work with my AXi 2212/34 motor? Also, all the hobby shop has here is a 2 cell lithium 1550 pack...would that work alright? I am putting this motor on a 3Dfoamy edge.

Sorry for yet another "would this work" thread, but I am just getting into these electrics.

The Pixie 20P is a brushed motor controller. You have a brushless motor. Not compatible in any way.

The battery will run the motor (with the proper esc), but it will be a dog. The 2212/34 is pretty much a 3 cell only motor.

Sorry.

Cheapest way out 4 u 4 now is to probably buy a GWS D drive motor gearbox combo and run a brushed set up

If you already have the 20P and want to get rid of it, I'll buy it off you... I need a few more for the brushed motor test birds... Aside from that, you have a great motor picked out. It'll be a 3cell motor though... If you want to do 2 cells, then you need the 2212-26... But 3 cells is the way to go for 90% of everything out there in that size.

alright thanks, I thought it would be the case that it was a brushed speed controller. I only asked becasue the hobby shop I work at only had in those things...and I can get em cheaper. Ah well, I will order the right stuff off the internet I spose.

Thanks again
