Extreme Flight Yak vs. 3D buddy
Now i am really conflicted. This new 3D buddy that came out how is it any different from the Extreme Flight Yak. They have the exact same motor but the yak is heavier than the 3d buddy edge 540. Does anyone have any more knowledge than me about this.

Got one of each,
Both great planes, great arfs, and same motor, ESC.
The EF Yak has a neater design job(more elaborate), a different nose profile( something a lot of us could use), a different shaped rudder, and rounded, covered wing tips. There's no way they came from different factories. Each worth the cost. Both suppliers are terrific. What else can I say.

RE: Extreme Flight Yak vs. 3D buddy
Hi,
I am new to RCU / the Forum. I was referred here by a friend. I have been convinced to expand my hobby into electric airplanes. I am researching the Extreme Flight Yak and the Ultra-RC Edge. Can anyone share any comments about their experiences with these planes and the service. It appears that Extreme is out of the Yaks and Ultra just received their shipment of Edges. They most definately are made in the same factory so I am sure the quality is the same. It is apparent the decision to be made is already mentioned in my comments, but I would really appreicate any input.
Thank you.
