My LHS put an AXI outrunner motor on their Eflite Ultimate. They just got the new stick mount for the motor and it bolted right on just like stock. Super simple setup. I am gonna get the Himax 2812/0650 for my Eflite Ulty I think. Same idea, outrunner with a stick mount so it bolts right on for about $55.

I don't have any and don't know where to find any. You might be able to search the web, but the truth is if you have the plane with stock motor and gear box on it. It looks basically the same, but without the gear box. Below is a picture of the outrunner motor I want with the mount on it, direct drive prop, as well as a pic of the gear driven inrunner version. You can see that it mounts just like the stock motor gear box assembly.

This thread has pics of an Ulty with a burshless motor mounted without the stick mount. Takes some mods to do, but would work well:

Can't find any others at the moment.
