Default e flite ultamte and himax motor ???

Guys, i just tried to mount a himax gearbox (2015-4166) to my e-flite Ultimate motor wood stick. problem is when I thread the screw into the wood it only goes so far and then hits the carbon rod. the scres is suposed to be a 2mm by 6 mm but regardless of which size I use I will run into a problem... please help and pictures of how you mounted the gear box would be great...

My friend ran into the same problem with his ultimate, get two small screws and make another hole on the other side of the box, then screw the two small screws in and back out, fill the hole with CA and "rescrew" the screws in and let the CA dry, that seems to protect you from that little piece of wood causing you problems... good luck with they plane!
