RE: Shocky Biplane
I was thinking about taking two shockys and making it a twin extra 300....kinda like the twin P-51 deal. One wing, two fuselages.
I figure it would make it easier to beef up the structure, Not to mention hovering a twin motor plane would be pretty sweet.

This is the best "shocky' bipe I've ever seen:

This bird is constructed by a Swede and produced in Norway: http://www.ultramicro.no/documents/verti_000.wmv
The great advantage of this one is the real body, not a plain boring plate. And the ving has a slightly convex profile making it exciting slow and steady, my favourite foamie above all
They also make an other bipe slightly faster without profile in the wing. It can also be flown indoor, and then I mean indoor: http://www.ultramicro.no/documents/verksted2.wmv
Just want to add this one, awesome display but a pretty heavy file. Also a plane produced the same place: http://www.ultramicro.no/documents/E...Ultramicro.wmv
If you work with depron it seems like you just draw some nice scalelooking wings and body-sides, glue it together and it will fly!

RE: Shocky Biplane
Cool vids. That edge is pretty fast --love the snaps!
Here's another "cute" biplane for indoor:
http://www.e-foamies.com/videos/chal...ed_mini_02.wmv
and the thread on RC groups:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ht=molded+bipe
Looks like they've had production problems, but the web site says they'll start making kits next month. Molding depron must be difficult.

RE: Shocky Biplane
Nice bipe wind junkie. but it deserves to be more colorful than just black
Alfa-models makes a lot of nice molded scale-models, but no bipes so far I think.

RE: Shocky Biplane
you had might think about a triplane shocky.......that way you stay somewhat symetrical....and it would be a quick and easy mod....just a few wing struts a couple of wings.....sew it up....and hook up the ailerons......
