I just got my 3D Buddy and I love it. The thing flies great. I am stil lerning to hover but I am geting good at it. I found the landing gear flexes too much though and I would like to know if anyone knows if there is a way to reinforce it.
Thanks
Will
PS The glasses are too big for my head.

It is my best plane out of 8 that i have. You will have a blast with it. Make shure it is not twisted. Mine was and i almost lost it on test flight.

Best way to solve the gear is to remove it. I have a couple 3D Buddy's and have never needed to put gear on them. More weight then is needed.
If I was going to put gear to protect the prop, then I would make a small skid.

I reduced the length of the stock gear by about 1/2 the original length. Works good for me, acuse I like doing touch and goes. I did replace the wheels with 2" MPI Max wheels. The stock wheels are junk.
I mounted the battery under the wing (on side of fuse about 1" back from LE) and the gear protects the battery on landings.
