Default 3D-buddy- build and fly

I've seen the review about this airplane. There is many versions of them too. Anyways if you have this plane what is your setup with the engine given and esc. I mean servos batterie receiver ect... And how good you think the plane is.

I just bought one from Mark V. He does reviews for RCU. Since im a sissy when it comes to building (i look at the same peice for 30 min before gluing because im afraid to mess it up) I decided to buy Marks. He gave me a fair price and it came to me built and ready for flight. I have the brushless motor and esc that comes with the arf package. I have an electron 6 as the reciver. Hs-55 servos and 3cell kokam 1500mah lipo packs. I didnt get to fly it yet because of bad weather but from the video's and Marks experience with chosing those components you cant go wrong. Ill let you know on the fight once weather improves. All i know is its gonna have plenty of vertical!!!

The airplane described above is the Buddy 3d. I love the way it looks and it is a quality build. Definatly recomend the airplane for its looks and feels. If its as good as what i have seen in the videos, then its the best out there.

O, as for the specs,
wind 13 mph,
flown at a baseball feild/park
trim only needed some right ailron trim.
SHE FLYS RIGHT OUT OF YOUR HAND.

I never had a 3d airplane before, im use to throwing the airplanes. My buddys got the airplane in his hands, and i test the throddle. He had 1 hand on it, quickly he grabbes it second hand before it flys away. Pulls much harder then I imagined. For the toss, he simply dropped it, and it flew great. A little trim, and she was good. I flew two packs in her, 2 more flight tommarow, they will be video taped and ill hopefully get the videos up soon.

Does anyone have information on programing the Ultra RC speed controller? I have looked on line and haven't found anything other than it is programable.

I have the 540 Edge version and it look like it will be a hoot to fly....

You will love it, i didnt program anything and nothing bad happened yet. I just fly untill I feel the airplane is losing power, sure enough when i feel it i have around 10 seconds befor power is nearly all gone, I just dead stick it in and thats all. Do as you wish, i find it fine to fly without a cut off.
