If you have places to fly teh Accel i would purchase that. But if your always on the go, i would get the shockflyer. I fly my Tensor(like a shockflyer but a biplane ) everywhere and its great. So the verdict is, if you believe you have enough time to go out to the field to fly the Katana, get that. If you dont, get the shockflyer!

You should try electic. The power to weight ratios and dependable power make these little planes a blast.
Try the Hellraiser, you will fall in love.

There are lots of good foam 3D planes. The Ikarus shock flyers are good, 3DFoamy planes are good, and lots of others. They have flat plate wings and are very good at 3D. You want a brushless motor and lithium batteries, as well as light weight receiver, servos, and speed control.
The Hell Raiser and Ikarus planes can be found here.
