Default My Strange setup,help pease?

Hi guys I am having the strangest experience with my blade 3d setup..

I have a zxi 2208/34 (9x3.8 APC) -JETI 08-3p controller and a 720mAh 11.1v Lipo(ALS HOBBIES?KOKAM,maybe?)
Using a JP Li-Po 1-3 cell charger..

Anyway when I first got the pack it would charge to about 12.6v and the motor would run fine.
But now the charger detects its peak and tells me its full at 11.4v.
When i fly now with this pack the ESC blips the motor to let you now the pack is getting low and then after another few mins it cuts out altogether..

Whats going on here?is it a faulty Li-Po which has only been charged around 5 times or the charger??

The problem may be with your Lithium pack. Your setup draws around 9amps at full throttle which means that the 720mAh cell must be rated for 10C or more. I don't think it is a Kokam cell. You should check where you bought it to find the discharge rating.

I have just bent my blade anyway so plenty of time to don more research. How does the C rating work and what if its high or low?

Would any of that explain why it doesn't charge to the recent 12.6 volts as recommended on the sheet I got with the battery?

Should I get another blade or something else?
I was thinking the yak they have on www.freestyle-rc.com how would this wood plane compare to the blade(EPP) in terms of durability?

The "C" rating of a battery is the discharge rate as a factor of capacity (thus the "C"). If a battery is rated 10C continuous, that means you can safely discharge it at a rate of 10 times its capacity. For example, a 720 mAh (0.72 Amp-hour) pack rated for 10C discharge can provide 0.72 * 10 = 7.2 amps. If it's rated for 15C burst, that would mean you can pull up to 0.72 * 15 = 10.8 amps for very short periods. There's no problem having a higher C rating than needed (other than possibly paying more for the battery), but if the C rating is too low for your application, you can damage the battery by discharging it too quickly.

Does this mean when I am drawing that 9 mps with my setup the lipo voltage drops to a low level and the esc cuts out the motor because it thinks the battery is running low when it is really the the battery which is rate at a low rate of discharge?

I will contact als hobbies and ask them about it?Am I entitled to a refund or exchange if it a low C rate as they sold me this pack with all the electronics mentioned above.
