I have heard nothing but good about them......but they need to be used on a very light airframe....shock flyer, etc....

Im running the BP21 on my F3A shockflyer. Ive got nothing but good stuff to say about it. Awesome durable little no frills motor. Like a Timex watch...just keeps on ticking. Ive got two of them. Ive found no reason to buy anything else. At 24-26 bucks a pop, they will perform just as well as a Axi 2204 at 1/3rd the price.

Durability is TOPS. Ive smacked mine in countless times, managed to dip it in a pond, hit a powerline multiple times, never missed a beat. Still working great.

If your looking for a cheap alternative to an expensive brushless motor, the BP21 is it.

11.3oz of thrust on a 7.4v 730mah lipo, and it will run for close to 15min.
21 oz of thrust on a 11.1V lipo. Hot little motor.

Im running a APC 9.4 slowflyer prop on mine. It seems like the best one Ive found. Smooth, and powerful.

You said 21 oz of thrust on the bp21, I'm going to run it on my tiburon bipe this weekend and see how it performs . want to get away from my geared Himax. I'll let you know. It would be great to have a backup indoor site wouldn't it." dream on huh" later

I have a 9.2 oz plane on a gws 350c DX 1200 2s etecs, do you think that this is the way to upgrade?, I asume that my lipos wont be usefull
I`m thinking about to stick to this weight class planes or go for a little bigger (heavier plane), say 13 oz, either way the prices of BP products are by far better of competition, need your recomendation for both alternatives

Thanx

Yeah, according to the stats it will put out 21 oz of thrust on a 3cell lipo. I think its actually capable of a little more.

DanielZ, it depends on how much weight you can shave off that plane. If you can get it down to 7-8oz, it would probably fly pretty good on the 2cells. If its gonna stay at 9.2...Id go for a 3cell.

Bill, definatly let me know how it works out with that Tiberon. Im curious to know if it will pull something that heavy. What does the Tiberon weigh? About 19oz?

My tiberon bipe weight is 12.5 oz no battery and 15.6 with 1320 thunderpower 3c battery. yea maybe a little heavy. the himax 4100 does excellent though so I will use the bp21 on a shocky. I will see you on Tuesday night unless something changes.
