Hi, every one,
Planning go to electric 3D with some requirements like (light, durable, easy build , perform most of 3D) , did some research and got two planes which looks good for me (Tufflight 4D Lite vs E-flite Yak 54F 3D) , but get trouble with choose one of them.
Both of them have advantage and disadvantages like all planes, and I hope owners both of them reviews can help me in final decision.

I've had a few of Tufflights' gaseous planes and they were great. Haven't had TFs electric yet nor have I seen one live. If I didn't seen either one fly. I would get the Tufflight first as I know the quality I'd get. From looking at the pics, it also looks like the 4D has a little airfoil which would be another plus.

I have both and I say get them both. It depends on where you plan to fly. The 4D Lite is excellent for indoor and small areas outside with lite wind. The Yak 54F is much heavier so indoor flight could be tricky depending on the how much room you have inside. The 4D Lite is more durable than the Yak54F and can take allot more punishment. [link=http://www.my89blacksc.com/4dlite2.wmv]4D Lite[/link] Here's a small video of my son flying in back yard. Also Tufflight offers great support by email and in these forums. I would email them if you buy one to ask for any improvements they have come up with since your kit was made. There is a little more building involved with the 4D Lite and you get to express yourself artistically with your own panit scheme I think you'll be happy with a 4D Lite. Also an excellent flying plane with out the worry of destroying it when crashing, repairs if need can be done easy with a little CA and kicker.

Thanks, everyone
I did not notice I do not have a great environment to build planes, I just do not have a room for that, so if that require special table for build plane that may not be acceptable for me. For flights i have parks and another out door places, have no indoor facility.
What do You think Tufflight 4D lite will be fit to that?
From Yours description I like in tufflight that it has profiled wing and that is more durable.

The 4D Lite can be built on a kitchen table. You only need medium CA, thin CA and kicker. You should be able to fly outdoors with light wind with no problem this depends on your flying ability. The yard the video was made in is about 50 x 75 feet.

Thanks a lot Jim.
I’ll go with tufflight.
Just couple of more questions.
1 is the combo coming with 4D lite good enough for 3D flying ( out runner one $225) ?
2 You sad CA medium and thin is that regular CA or some special for foam?
Thank you,
Dmitriy

I used regular CA without any problems. I got the basic 4D lite kit but the 225 one has all but receiver. I am using the hi max 2808-1160 on the one I have and it more than enough power for 3D.

I put that same himax motor in my gws beaver night flyer that weighs 14oz and it will go vertical on a 10x4.7 slow apc, the tufflight it sopposed to weigh 8oz, so there is probably at least 2.5:1 power to weight ratio. Awesome motor and EXTREMELY quiet. Beats the axi's hands down for the price and what comes with the motor.
