Hi there...
I'm looking for a good 3D plane. Not too hard to fly and hard to break.
I've flown 3 CH Wing-Dragon II for nearly one year, now I want some more action.
I've been looking at these three:
- Cobra EPP A
- Christen Eagle
- Uzi XL
If you have any experience with one or mor of these planes, please write me. :-)
Thanks.
Regards

Hi there. Out of the 3 planes you listed, I know about the Cobra EPP the most. My friend has one and I watch him fly it, and I fly it some too. A while back, on his 3rd flight he was about 60 feet up in the air and his elevator control horn popped off (he did not screw them in). He nose dived all the way down slamming hard into the ground. We thought the plane was ruined but to our surprise there wasn't a scratch on the thing!
So, if you want a good flying plane that is nearly indestructable the Cobra EPP is the one to go for. I recommend buying the brushless setup because the brushed motor barely has enough power to hover, and that is immediately after take-off.

Air3D540>> Sounds good. Just might be what I'm looking for. :-)
I'm thinking of buy a packet offer including:
- 1 Cobra
- 1 POT 80W (Motor)
- 1 TMM 1210-3 (ESC)
- 1 225x125F (Prop.)
Do you know what weather conditions the plane can take? I mean can it take a little windy weather. I live in Denmark, and we have windy weather sometimes.
In a danish forum I was adviced to buy a Diablotin or a Kabriolin. They seem more weather stabile, but my economy isn't in to buying one of those and I'm affraid they'll break more easy than the Cobra EPP, Christen Eagle and Uzi XL.

I have the Eflite Ulitmate, 400park Eflite brushless(major powerhouse) with a 10x4.7 it turns to hard but keeps the motor cool,,, GWS flight pack, Phoenix 25 amp ESC, and using Electrifly 1500mah 11.1v Lipo,, I love the plane, I have hovered/Torque rolled everything from a UCANDO .46 to a Carden 40% and I must say that this thing is very quick, I mean that you have to be quick on the sticks to hold the fast torque roll I can do it now about a foot off the ground with no problem but it took a bunch of practice and stick time on this plane,, is a good flying plane,, would I buy another,, maybe,,,if you are a beginner to 3D do not get this bird it torque rolls super fast and a beginner can not keep up with it,, however as anything if you start off high you can work your way into it with practice,,

The Cobra does seem to bounce around some in a 5-10 mph wind. I have a large field beside my house that I fly at but it is surrounded by tall forested hills so I don't get much wind very often. Since you live in a wind prone area, the other, more stable, models would probably be the best way to go.
