Default Tensor 4D

Just finsihed my Tensor and went to set up the radio. Every time I go over 1/2 throttle it cuts out, anyone know what the problem could be? Here is my set-up
Park 37 Outrunner 1080kv
Phoenix-10
Tanic 3C 11.1 volt 10-12C High Discharge
10 x 4.7 APC slow fly.

Any help would be appricated.

Thanks!

If your batt pack cannot deliver enough amps, the speed controller will cut off the motor. do you have a better battery pack you can borrow to try?

Thanks for the advice, I went and bought a 2C 1550 Tanic, plane flew awesome! Had the same discharge rate listed, maybe my first battery was no good?

it sounds like you are pulling to many amps for your speed control. The reason it doesnt do it with a 2s pack is because you are giving the motor only 7.4v compaired to the 3s 11.1v and you are not pulling as many amps with the lesser amount of voltage. If you want to get more power than your 2c, your gunna have to get a pheonix 25 speed control and use your 3s pack. It also all depends on were you are going to be flying the most, if you mainly fly indoors, i would stay with the 2 cell, but if you decide to venture outdoors, i would recommend the extra weight and power of the 3 cell with the pheonix 25.

Someone please correct me if im wrong, that just seems to be the problem too me...

Good luck

Thanks Zagiflyer, ! I have a Phoenix 25 amp laying around from a Todds models Attitude plane that I crashed beyond repair four months ago. Put it in and it works, awesome plane!

Thanks for the help!

Or just keep the Pheonix 10, go back to 3S and prop down to a 10/3.8, 9/4.7 or a 9/3.8. It will still zoom. Good luck, Joe
