Hi There
After the epoxy on the engine mounting of my shock flyer had dried, I noticed that the motor had tilted downwards, about 1 degree. Is this acceptable or not? Worried that I would need to give alot of up elevator trim!!! Not looking forward to try and cut the epoxy loose. What do u guys think??
Thanks

Well...since the glue is dry...if it were me.. I would fly and and see what happens...
or is there a way you can space the motor back to the original angle?

Personally I would put a spacer behind the motor I don't feel that it is that critical. The simplicity is whats great about the shock fliers. My 330 has been run thru the mill and don't expect it to last for very long . I've been using side force generators on mine for 50 + flights doesn't take as much elevator for KE and is more stable . Its fun to fly also the gen2 Yak is great. Flew last night at the gym nobody showed up had it all to myself. Don't know why nobody showed up .

1 degree of down thrust shouldnt make too much of a difference. You might need a tad of elevator trim in a hover, but other than that it shouldnt be too bad.

Bought the plane, motor, battery, speed control locally in South Africa. Ordered charger, servos, receiver, props from tower....
