flight power are UK cells, distributed as e plus gold through duralite. I had 1 pack and with only 100 cycles a single cell gets hot within less than a minute running, so it died. I like kokams, they are the market leaders and i have never had a problem with any of their packs, my 340mah 3s pack has over 500 cycles on it, bereaking ever rule in the book about safety of the cells and its better than ever

Cant comment about Flight Power, as Ive never used them. But I have quite a few thunderpower batteries, and Ive never had a problem with any of them.

I am new to this, don't know from Flight Power but I coughed up for four (4) Thunder Power 3-cell 1320s about a month ago and so far, so good. If edible_engine's experience with the Kokams is any guide, that sounds like a terrific service life. Mine only have about 5 to 7 cycles each, although I've done plenty of flying ... that's the nice thing about having multiples. Yank one out, slap in a new one, charge 'em all later as time permits.

AND they get a chance to cool off.
