Default TM 3D .......... with brushless ....

OK, got my Moth and am using a E-Flite 370 brushless. I have not used the stock motor so I will have no comparison and I am staying with NiCd's and NiMh's for now. I have 21 packs so it is going to be a matter of time before I change.

Is anyone flying the TM 3D with or without brushless? If so, how do you like or dislike it?

Thanks,
Fred

Default RE: TM 3D .......... with brushless ....

I have the 3d without the brushless, very disappointed, way under powered. They review said it will hover at 1/2 throttle, what a joke, would barely ROG. This was even with a 3 cell Li poly. I parked it after two attempts and went with the Tensor. I'm a huge tiger moth fan so I am waiting to throw an AXI outrunner in it.

I posted a note about it when I first got it a couple of months ago, got one reply and the guy said it wouldnt it fly, he hand tossed it and wouldnt maintain level flight.

Please let us know how it flys when you get it up, want to make sure it worth the effort putting an outrunner in it.
