I have an Esskay 400XT spinning an APC 10x3.8 prop, Kokam 11.1V 640mah Lipo, and Great Planes BL-8 ESC. This is on a flat foamy with 300 sq. in. wing area weighing 10 oz. I charge the Lipo with the Great Planes Polycharge charger. Does anyone have any experience with this motor combo or something very similar? I'm wondering what kind of flight time I should be getting. I've only flown it once and it did great. Could someone tell me how long my flight time should be? Also, the low voltage cutoff on the ESC cuts the power at 8.4V. Is this too low? Someone told me to stop my flight before it gets to this voltage. What do you guys think? Will it harm my battery to fly it to the point where the ESC shuts the power to the motor?
