Hpi,

I mostly buy at a couple of LHS that are kind of local. But I have bought a couple of things from
Balsa Products www.balsapr.com seemed to be pretty good service and reasonable prices.

I buy a lot from Tower Hobbies, free shipping if you get $150.00 or more, I never have had a problem.
Also use all of these vendors, again no problems and free shipping if you order enough.

I only buy from tower when I need to, I've had their membership thing for 3 years, and every year the deals get WORSE and WORSE... 1st year there were $15 off of $50 and $20 off $100, and double deals all over.... now I'm lucky if I get more than 15/150... screw that... If it costs as much with shipping as it costs at the lhs with tax, screw tower...

When I started in the hobby about 14 years ago, all I heard was "shop Tower Hobbies, they're the best", so I did. Three messed up orders in less than a year! I stopped using them for about 5 years until they had an offer I couldn't refuse, so I tried again. Guess what; they screwed that one up also. Now if I see something in a Tower ad that I really want, the local hobby shop will get it for me at the same price. Now I don't have to pay postage either. As for Northeast Sailplanes; just do a search here on RCU to read about them )&(^@&s! I can't add to that.

I don't mean to be a dick or anything, but thats not a great price, I grabbed my A20L for $20 cheaper, but 3dfoamy's planes do kick ass...

Balsapr.com - they rock.

Their ESC's are flawless, and work great, and are cheap too. That little 10A brushless one is PERFECT for shockflyers. No Bull ESC. Ive got over 100 flights on mine, and its still crankin'! Never had one single problem with it. Plug in the battery, it goes....PERIOD.

Their BP-21 and BP-12 brushless outrunners are fine little motors and at $26 bucks will smoke some of the more expensive motors in power vs weight.

Cheap prices, and great stuff. Ive been pleased with everything I've gotten from them. Normally I order from them through my local hobby shop. Its just easier that way.
