I flew my first 3d flight today! everything was very nice today, and it was just perfect time for my first flight on the Tensor 4d. I waited for an good pilot to arrive to help me make sure everything was working. Since he had helped me yesterday with some final details, he offered to trim out everything on the first flight. Being the first plane I really 'built' I thought it would be prudent, so I accepted. After a nice takeoff, he flew around and trimmed it out. Once it was trimmed I was suprised by how easy it was to fly. I even tried out some rolls and loops. After borrowing a second battery, I tried out a solo flight, and what fun! I was able to do plenty aerobatics (although honetly I still have plenty to learn) but I was able to at least do a semi hover for a few seconds. Of course plenty of rolls and everything! However after a recharge, something snapped, and I had to make a crash landing, not very easy on the foam, but I'll be back!
