Hi, all...
I just started flying my E-flight yak a week ago (about 15 flights) and I have already made several small repairs to it. I was wondering how many repairs it can take before it starts gaining to much weight to still fly good? whats the longest these planes last? This is my first foamy and I'm having a blast with it so far but it is very fragile!! I even broke the fuse in half behind the wing and had it glued back together and flying again in about 10 min.

Ive got shockflyers that I've had for over 6 months, and then Ive had a tensor that only lasted two days before it would no longer fly.
It all depends on how much you crash them, and how much damage is done to them in each crash.

I usually get pretty many flights out of my foamies. I went through 6 3d foamys since christmas time. 2 tensors, scrathbuild tensor, extra 330 shocky, f3a shocky, and now the hot rod. But most all of them had at least over 100 flights. I fly these most all the time in the evening when not at the field. It seems like the avarge for mine are 3-4 months with some repairs in there before they are shot or take the final hit. I just lost my mini Hot rod yesturday cause the elevator servo locked up on a vertical downline and kept on going down, i was going to do a parachute, but that was the end of that airframe. oh well, i love hte 3d foamys.

Built my second Icarus shocky last Jan. Took it to an indoor soccer dome the next day and promptly had a midair and knocked the tail clean off it. Gotta break them in right
Been flying the same one since then but it's a sorrowfull looking sight. In the middle of building another one. You sure do find out where the stress points are to beef up the next one.

My shockie is about 10 months old. It has had been fixed many times though. It is the only plane i fly with zero fear of crashing. Eventually I guess I'll replace the plane with a new one but its still got some life left.
