Hi!:
What is the best setup for outdoor shockflyer F3A?

My experimental setup is:

JETI 8 PLUS
2S LYPO 742 or
3S LYPO 1050 ?? ADVICE PLEASE!
PROP very confuse...

I read all the threads and i am confused about the correct prop .
My hobbyshop only have this sizes: All GWS : 10x6 , 9x4.7, 9x5, 9x7 and 8x4.3.

use a 9x4.7 prop and a 3 cell no bigger than 850 mAh, everything else you have is good. now go fly. I'd go with a 450 3 cell from rc-dymond.com, they're around 20 bucks each.

I would suggest a 9x4,7 on 2S LiPo. 400 gram thrust and 7amp. 3S propably load your motot to death using that prop, 11 amp and it is rated for max 8.
A friend of me run that motor on 2S and it works very good. Myself I use 2204/54 on 3S and 8x8,4 prop.

A 8x3,8 is what I have used on 3S, slightly too much load but have worked fine for me on at least 50 flights on that Axi not damaging it.

On my first F3A i used a 2208/34, 9x4.7, and a 3c1320TP battery pack. It flew very well. My new one has a 2204/54 and its way beta.

Try a 3 cell 450 pack, you'll be amazed how much better it flies with a battery thats half the weight.
