Default motor setup

hey im a bit of a noob when it comes to eletric motors could anyone help me ive got a typoon 6/3d motor running lipo cells with a tsunami-10 speedcontroler, the prob is all the wires on the motor are yellow and the speed controler wires are red!!!! so what way do i solider them up if there all the same colour!!!!!!

if it is 3 wire brushless...it doesn't matter....

just hook them together...if the motor spins the wrong direction, either reverse the ESC or switch any 2 of the wires

From one noob to another: Assuming the 3 wires are arranged in a flat, side-by-side pattern on both the speed control and the motor, it makes sense that you'd plug them in left-left, middle-middle, and right-right. If the motor runs backwards this way, flip the speed control over and re-plug with the former "right" wire on the "left" and vice versa. It worked for me.

What is best is that keep the centre one with the centre one, left and right will make a difference on the 'polarity'.
