I didnt know what to expect from this little bipe when i got to the field i fly at which is grass with a very low use side street to one side where i take off. I set it down pluged the battery in put it about 15 feet from the grass heading twords it and went for it, the grass came up really fast and with the old floor it a hope, it leaped into the air and was fine. however being uses to the stifness and less drag of the Flatana this thing was to say the least wierd, to someone familiar with EPP i think it to be normal however I'm new to the material. This thing with S_L_O_W way down when you want it to and only behaves like a regular airplane at almost half throttle(nice for 3-d though). rolls are a bit slow, good enough that I don't mind but made need more throw later. Loops are real nice thanks to the flying stabelizer, almost in its length when you get used to it. inverted flight is easy. Hover and variations like elevators and harriers are also easy with it. It does flex alot, but the wings dont seem too. Just the fuse from the wings back. I did a few touch and go's and discovered its better not to pull up, just lift it off with throttle, when I'd pull up the tail skid would kick out cuz the fuse flexes, works in an emergency(or as i call it the uh-oh no runway left)but I'd try and avoid doing it. Of course since it's EPP it bends and bounces, not breaks, this comes in handy, my battery went dead and without power and no like for gliding i was forced to set it in the grass a bit hard, It stopped instantly with a good wiggle from the tail and to my suprise zero damage, I did that twice and hit the grass rolling at almost full throttle once, and no damage the entire flight. I'm fairly impressed with the little thing, its a good balance of performance and durability...I'll try to get some flight pics to post sometime this week...
