The whole plane is out of 3mm depron. It shouldnt be too hard to make one.
As long as its close, it should work fine.
Put a Axi 2204/54 on the front of it, and a lightweight lipo. Weve been running the TP 2cell 730mah lipos. Perfect combination. Ill be posting some videos soon of us doing all sorts of 3D stuff. Hovering, Torque rolls, rolling circles, etc. in a gym. Should have the video up around Tuesday or so. Gonna shoot it on Monday night.
Im seriously considering scaling it up to a 6mm depron plane with a 40" wingspan or something for outdoor flying.

I was following this thread with great anticipation. From the sounds of it this plane outperforms most anything in its class. As the plans available anywhere? I have not flown 3-D before but assume that if I build this plane and take it slow that I could learn and even if I crash a few hundred times. I could simple build a new one.
Where are the plans?

You know....because the plane is soooo lightweight. Its really easy to get it to slow down, and its far easier for a beginner to fly a plane that's not going really fast, so yeah...it probably would make a really good first 3D plane. Man, I wished I would have had it when I first started learning..perhaps I wouldnt have gone through so many airplanes
