The plug on the esc that looks like a servo connector goes to channel 3, the three wires out go to the motor, you may or may not want to use bullet connectors. That will leave you with two wires a red and a black, they go to the battery. If your motor runs backward reverse any two of the three wires. You will need a connector between the battery and the ESC so you can unplug the system to turn it off, and charge the battery. JST is probably the connector they gave you but not sure.

Good Luck.

If you can, get Deans Plugs put onto your Battery to ESC connection. Far better

Solder them together if the connectors don't match.

If using the stock motor, you need a male JST connector for the speed control. The motor has a female JST (red 2 pin) installed, right? Mine does.

I would do that....

is the ESC for the original brushed motor??

normally it is the plug the the RX, then the red and black to the battery (I prefer either micro deans or deans ultra connectors) and then the wires from the other end to the motor...

does the ESC have 2 wires or three??

I need to know if a motor of unknown specs that i have that I´m planning to use it with a C-35 ESC compatible with Ni/Cd/Mh from electrifly
Is there any chance that the ESC is damage during the test???
Testing it with a 9.8V 8S NiCd 700mAh batt. and with no prop. while on test.
