my motor doesnt engage until i move the stick 3/4 the way up and then it goes full power i think but the curve is really bad...... it goes from almost an idle to full in 3 clicks so would i need to program the esc or something because im not using an expensive radio i just have a cheap futaba skyspot 4 and also from 3/4 throttle down the motor does nothing! im new to electrics so idk if this is normal but someone please help me

oh yea and my battery wouldnt charge i think because i left it on the charger for 1.5 hours and its a 650 mah batt and a 500 mah charger is the setting that i had it on but i dont have a 12 volt battery handy to power my battery so i used a 12 battery charger that i use for my car battery and i charged it on 2 amps do u think this might have beenn the reason that my motor wasnt woking properly because the battery was not fully charged the charger never went off i just got sick of waiting so i pulled it off and pluged it up

well i fixed the throtle problem but now i have a battery charger problem. what am supposed to use to power the charger? I tryed using a car battery charger to power my charger but it didnt seem like it was working properly as i stated above.when i turn the car charger to 6 amps 12 volts my li-po charger just beeps and blinks alot but when the car charger is on 2 amps it seems like its charging but ive charged it for almost 2 hours total but no straight and the battery didnt even try to get warm it just stayed cold so idk if this is because its like 40 degres in my garage or if its not charging right

I believe he is using the car charger to power his Lipo charger because he has no battery, which will work. Ever had a dead battery in a car, hook up a battery charger and turn the radio on? May not be the best method, but will suffice in a pinch. It may take a little longer to charge the 640 battery at 500 mah. The initial charge on my batteries were 50 min at 640 mah but subsequent charges took about 1 hr. 15. min at the same rate, and batteries didn't get warm, which is a good thing. Maybe 10 degrees above room temp.
