Default World Models Fun World EP 400

I was wondering for those that have the new Fun World EP 400, what you are using for a engine, battery, prop and speed controller. I have one and would like to get a idea what everyone is using for a powerplant. Also, what is your feedback on the plane.

Fun World EP 400

39.5 wingspan
25.4 oz weight
421 sq in.

thanks
Kev

I've got an AXI 28 series, CC35 amp sc and a single 2100 3cell Li-po. Excellent performer, hovers at half throttle, very light.

Thanks,

Is it the 2808 or 2814 that you are running. If so , what props are you using with your set up with the CC35 AMP Speed Controller and 3 Cell Lipo?

Thanks again

It's not that it may be to complicated for me to build but I would like to get a closer look at how its built and an opinion on the quality and ease of final assembly of the model!
Thanks
Now take some pictures and tell us what you think!!!

just finished mine, 28 onz with tp 2100 3s, hs 55, jetti 35, apc 11x5.5 e prop, some mods to fit my axi 2808-24, and 23 onz with kokam 910 3s, haven't flow it yet, kinda windy here in sfla, but its only 2 onz hevier than my mini funtana by horizon, and 1.5 more than my fliton extra, it should be great because of the higher wing area..... will let ya know.

I have flown Fun World. This is a really nice plane. Very well built. I always had good experiences with World Models.

Triangle: Have you managed to test fly yet? How does that 2808/24 perform? I’m sure you’ve changed that kokam 910 for something else, what pack are you using now? Do you have any pics of your mod to fit the 2808?

I have recently completed my EP 400, the assembly took less time than the larger EP did and the quality compares very well, the colour scheme certainly looks better imo. Mine weighs 670g with a FlightPower 1800 3s pack and an AC DIY VL motor, using the supplied gearbox and prop, have not test flown yet. WOT draws 155W and it almost prop-hangs, but almost is far from enough, I want to prop-hang on 1/2~2/3 throttle. I need to upgrade the motor and am thinking the 2808/24 should do the trick.

Anyone else have one of these flying? What are your specs?

A friend of mine has this plane; the World Models EP-400, running a 3 cell Lipoly and the stock motor/gearbox. Can anyone recommend an APC electric propeller size to replace the stock folding prop, and what amperage will the original motor support??

Thanks,
AV8TOR
