Anything with a 12 to15 oz weight, with a lot of throws

And at $13.75 a motor you can run a new one every flight

Looks like good days are here again

These Chinese are amazing , I expect to find a site where they are selling for $ 5.72 next

Looks like there is various versions of the motor too , one can pull a 10 by 4 they claim
1260 KV what ever that means

1260KV means that the motor will turn the recommended prop One thousand two hundred and sixty revolutions per every volt applied.

1260 x 11.1(3cell lipo) = 13,986 RPM's at full throttle.

Thanks bd

My wife thought it was the amount of volts that could be applied to the windings before they shorted

In other words how good the insulation was

The KV rating sounds like a measure of efficiency of the motor

Yeah, here is the fun part....

Each prop is shown as length and pitch. For example you have a 8x4 prop. That means its 8" long, and has a pitch of 4

Ideally the prop is supposed to move 4" forward for each revolution at its ideal speed. So...

13,986 x 4 = 55,994 inches per minute or 4,662 ft per min
4662 foot/minute = 52.9772727 mile/hour
Assuming its spinning at the correct speed, and there isnt any drag (like an airplane being attached to it)
