Here's a tip on the Turmoil. Slide the hinge clips over the carbon fiber or you might break the clip. I have the Turmoil and its a great flying plane. It came in about 8 oz. I kept the landing gear off and I'm using a custom CDR brushless kit on it. The plane does everything. Have fun with the plane you'll enjoy it.

I had the Flatana and then designed my own foamy with SFGs similar to hte Turmoil. First off, take your time with the build. THe hinges are a pain to use but once all set up work flawlessly. Also, either build it without the landing gear, or if you put the gear on, reinforce the area where the gear crosses through the fuselage with a couple strips of packing tape. THat'll help keep the gear from ripping through the fuse. As for the SFGs, I leave them on my designed foamy all the time, and I only fly outdoors in a good amount of wind most of the time.

How does yours perform with the side force generators on. Mine had to be removed because they caused it to lose control and crash into a tree.
Also if the carbon fiber spar for the clip hinges on the rudder give you trouble . Mine the spare always detaches. Now my tail has a massive amout of damage do to this problem.
If your landing gear are too flemsy, get 2 carbon fiber tubes and cut them the same length as the LG tubes and double up on each tube to help strengthen them. I did this because with the battery on the LG sagged and the prop struck the ground. And I would get an APC 10x3.8 slow flyerprop for it.
