Default Shock Flyer VS. Flatouts

So which one's are the best ????????? I have flown the shockie Edge and it's sweet. But I'm not sure to try a Flatout or stick with Shock Flyers

I would stick to the Shockys if I were you. Much better performers, especially if kept light.

Here are my suggestions.

Either buy a shockie....or build the flatout like a shocky.

Get a reflection. Leave all the carbon and funky hinges out, and build it like a shockflyer. Taped hinges,box in the fuse with depron instead of using the carbon rod through the middle. Leave off all those plastic servo mounts, cross member braces etc. Take it from a 10oz airplane down to 6-7oz, and then it will be awesome.

Stick with the shockys they are much better. You could build the flat outs like a shocky and they would be better. The only reason I wouldn't do that is the foam that they use to make the flat outs is heavier than what they use for the shockflyers in the first place.
