if you want to be really happy get the e-flite qq yak 54. it is a great foamie and in my opion better than the ultimate, cause i've flewn the ultimate and it doeshave the bi-plane qualitys!! i meaning you have to fly rudder thru truns, plus the yak hovers and tr's better than the ultimate. and you can fly both these plane with about the same notor, and 370 eflite in runner. i personally like outrunners due to how quiet they are. on my yak i ran a hacker a20-20l but the a20-22l would be a good motor on it too. but take a look at the yak-54 and read some reveiws i think you will be alot happier!!!

I've flown the Ultmate and I like it. I'm trying the E-flite 370 outrunner 1080kv. It's doing ok but I can't hover the airplane. I'm going to try an APC 11x3.8 propeller. If this doesn't work I'll be going to the E-flite 400 920kv. The E-flite Yak also fly's really well.

I second the Yak. I have one and the Ultimate FX. While the FX is an awesome plane, The Yak is 500 times better in 3D flight. It's almost like the plane flies itself and knows every 3D and aerobatic move in the book!! The ultimate is a Bi Plane, and still flies like one. It is a nice plane for a change of pace, but my Yak is still my #1 foamy.

I have to agree that the Yak is good flying plane but it is very fragile. The 3mm foam fuselage leave little to be desired. My brother has the Ultimate with a Himax 2812-0850. The plane fly's awesome and has enough power to fly anything 3D.
