Hitec Electron 6 Receiver
Thunder Power 3 Cell 2100 mAh Lithium Poly

That sounds like a good setup. I'm running mine bone stock & it's still a fun plane. I'd recommend puting some packing tape around the tailwheel assembly when you get it. The foam it attaches to breaks off with even easy landings.
