Any one have a sammy 3d? I have searched this site till I'm blue in the screen and nothing. This looks like a great plane.
I purchased one at RCX and I'm in the assembly stage now. Frankly it can be assembled in an eveing but work won't allow for that. It will take me most of the week here to get it together.
If you have one how about some photos of your radio install?
I'm just about ready to install the motor.

Well I have mine in the air now, So far all has went well, but I'm concerned about setting the CG.
I'm new to 3D flying so setting the CG correctly is a learning experience for me. The Sammy 3D calls out for 4" to 4 3/8" which is a pretty small range. My plane right now has a tendency to porpus at slow speeds. It will nose up, slow and nose down.
I should mention that I have not had one calm day to trimm it out. The winds have been substantial enough to prevent that so far.
Also shame on me I haven't check the lateral balance, always in a hurry to get them in the air. So i will do that today.
Other than that everything else is pretty good.
Funny my Paramaount 52/70 does the same thing, at slow speed nose up, trying to get into hover the nose falls over.
Again I am totally new to the 3D stuff.
