Default ChargerRC CR-2 Pro 3D

Hey guys.

I won this in a raffle at a local event, slapped it together, and been flying it all day.
Fun plane. Builds literally in minutes. Build time is REALLY FAST. They fly fantastic. Really good 3D machine.
Super durable. This is one of those planes I would recommend for just about anyone.
Its the kind of plane that you just hit the throttle, toss it, and go fly around doing all sorts of crazyness.

They are dirt cheap too...check them out at www.chargerrc.com

No I dont work for them...I have my own company.

I have a CR-1 that I picked up at SEFF and it too has been a blast to fly. I use it when I want something to toss around in the back yard.

And no, I don't work for Charger either...I also have my own company...lol

It's nice to see companies supporting each other. Nice looking plane bdavison.

Here is a video of me flying it last night in the gym. Nothing special just goofing around.

bdavison- I JUST built this thing yesterday (built the CR-1 also for my 81 year old dad!) I was woindering if my Rimfire 22M would be enough power--- What do you think?

Im using the Rimfire on mine. It works GREAT. Plenty of power, and seems matched really well.
You will have to modify the aluminum mount to fit the Rimfire, but its not that hard.

The video above shows the charger powered by the Rimfire. In my opinion its a perfect match.

You are right it flies pretty good with the Rimfire. Until the motor decided to separate from the airplane.. [X(]

I am using an 11.1 640 pack and that TINY 8 amp ESC- I need a few more packs to try...

My dads has the E-Flite park 400 and a 3 cell 1320 and it has less power than the Rimfire-

I really am enjoying these airframes and Charger RC is about 20 minutes from my house--- I did not realize it until I emailed the owner via his web-site. Small world!

Thanks!

Yeah, I use the 3cell 1250mah lipo outdoors, and the 3cell 640mah for indoors. I really like flying this plane. Its just a all-around good foamy when you want to bore holes in the sky and do some serious 3D. And to top it all off they are virtually indestructible. Ive taken two pretty hard hits to the motor mount, and it didnt do much at all. That motor mount rocks.

This is by far the best airplane Ive found general all around flying - It flys good indoors and out.

If your looking for a foamy to put in the trunk of your car for flying during lunch hours in the parking lot or other goofy stuff. You cant beat this thing. Its perfect.

I agree 100% and they have great customer service also!

I am going to either Axi-fy or Hacker-ify the Yak he sells--

Funny you should ask... I asked Troy (Owner of Charger R/C) and was told the CR-1 Pro 3D seems to be the plane of choice.. I'll be placing my order for 2-CR-1 Pro 3D'S and 2 Shockwave Pro 3D bipes soon. Looking at the Hacker A20-26M or the Axi 2808-34 for power. Been hearing quiet a few complaints about the Hackers so I'll probably go with the Axi's, thwey seem to be a pretty strong and well built little motor.
